If someone had told me a year and a half ago I would join a fitness club, I would have looked at them as if they were from another planet. If they had then taken that one step further and said I would go on a daily basis, I would have thought they were absolutely out of their minds. And, if they had then pointed out I would love going, I would have walked away from them laughing.

Well, I guess the joke is on me ... I, who had NEVER stepped foot in a gym prior to November 2003, have been a member of Christine's Fitness since that time, I rarely miss a day and ... this is the part that still amazes me, I absolutely LOVE going!!!

I had checked out a few places prior to coming to Christine's and was very turned off by the staff's pushiness in trying to get me to become a member and/or the club's overall atmosphere. Christine's was nothing like that. Everyone was, and continue to be, very welcoming (including the cats!), there was no pressure to join or to sign up for personal training sessions, and the instant I walked in I could tell it was a very different environment ... relaxed, unpretentious, and one in which the staff are very committed to the well being of the members.

Christine has created a truly wonderful environment for her members. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable about fitness, they are very helpful, supportive and encouraging and they always have time to answer any questions. The club is always spotless and I rarely have to wait for a machine to become available ... even then, the wait may be 1 minute at the most.

Being a fitness novice, I opted to get personal training sessions which now occur every 2 months. Christine has geared these sessions to meet my fitness level of expertise. I started out gradually and am now at what Christine calls an advanced level!

I am absolutely thrilled with how healthy and fit I feel and look. I've lost 44 pounds and 11% of my body fat since joining. I also love how great I feel after my workout. It really is a wonderful stress reliever especially after a hard days work.

I am so glad I joined Christine's ... this really is the ideal club for me!
