As I approached 30 earlier this year I became afraid that things would start going downhill if I didn't start exercising and taking better care of myself. My diet was already fairly good and I definitely didn't have a weight problem. In fact I have the opposite problem of most women in that I'm very thin. It is very hard for me to gain weight. My goal was actually to look bigger. Being very self-conscience I started looking around for a woman's only gym in my area to see if this could be accomplished. I joined Christine's Fitness and Personal Training at the end of February of 2007. I was getting married in the middle of May and wanted to tone and firm to look and feel fantastic on the big day. When meeting with a consultant, I had informed them that I wasn't expecting any miracles as the day was just two months away. That's when they told me that I would see results in two weeks. Being as skeptical as I can be, I didn't quite believe them and asked them how that was possible. The workouts are based on turbulence training. These workouts work large muscle groups at one time so you see results faster. It has been about two months since joining Christine's and the results are in and are clear. I have never seen results like these in such a short time. My lean body mass had increased 4%, muscles are being sculpted and I have never felt better. At Christine's you are person, not just a membership number. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They know your name and face. The atmosphere is not your typical gym.
