I approached the Body Weight Challenge with excitement and enthusiasm and as something different from my regular physical activities as it entailed Group Training or Bootcamp.
In the first week, I lost 8 pounds which was truly astounding and greatly encouraging. I also started to feel healthier with higher levels of energy almost immediately. The nutrition plan gave me the protein I needed to offset the absence / reduction of starchy carbohydrates and I never felt hungry except for the first two days. Over the month, I wound up hitting my satiation point more quickly as my stomach seemed to have shrunk. Overall, I lost 14 pounds and 7 inches in 36 days.
I really liked the structure of the Group Training sessions especially getting my heart rate up in combination with the weight training. I also pushed myself harder in a group environment.
The whole Challenge experience was a really good check-in with my body and an excellent tune up for overall health. It was really my gift to me. Rather than going out and buying those new pair of boots, make an investment in yourself and your health. You won’t be disappointed.
