Active Release Techniques (ART)

ART is a revolutionary approach to soft tissue management.  Precisely directed tension is applied to adhesions in muscle, ligaments, tendons and nerves, while the patient moves in a specific direction.  ART is an active and empowering treatment in which the practioner and patient work together to achive desired results.  Professional athletes, like our own Raptors, Maple Leafs and Blue Jays often use ART.  ART has shown great success in treating carpal tunnel syndrome, neck and back pain, shoulder pain, and muscle strains.

Dr. Kelly Snowden has had over 10 years of instruction in Chiropractic, Kinesiology, Anatomy, Orthotics and Active Release Techniques (ART).  Through her participation in competitive and recreational sport, Dr. Snowden understands the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Her goal is to eliminate those pains and injuries that may be impeding your desired activity level.  An integrated wellness program, utilizing a variety of techniques, will be designed to meet yor specific healthcare needs.
